PicDF ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use our mobile application, PicDF.
1. Data Privacy (The "No-Cloud" Guarantee)
The core functionality of PicDF (converting images to PDF) happens entirely on your device.
Images & Documents: We do not upload your photos, scans, or generated PDFs to any servers. All processing is done locally via the app's internal code.
No Personal Data Collection: We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or phone number to use the basic features of the app.
2. Permissions We Request
To provide our services, we request the following permissions on your device:
Camera: Used solely to allow you to take photos of documents to be converted into PDFs.
Photo Library/Storage: Used to allow you to select existing images for conversion and to save the final PDF documents to your device.
Internet/Network State: Used to load advertisements and process in-app purchases.
3. Third-Party Services
We use third-party tools that may collect information used to identify you or your device:
Google AdMob: We display advertisements to keep the app free. AdMob may collect device identifiers (like IDFA or Android Ad ID) to show personalized or non-personalized ads. You can opt-out of personalized ads in your device settings.
Apple App Store / Google Play Store: For in-app purchases and subscriptions, all payment processing is handled securely by Apple or Google. We do not see or store your credit card information.
4. Data Retention
Since we do not host your files on a server, we do not retain any of your converted documents. If you delete the app, any temporary files stored in the app’s cache will be removed by the operating system.
5. Children’s Privacy
PicDF does not knowingly collect any personal identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
