Thank you for using DigiWallet ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy is designed to inform you about the types of information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your information.This policy applies to the DigiWallet mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect.
Our App is designed with your privacy as a priority. The information we handle can be categorized as follows:
a) Information You Provide Directly:
Card Data: When you add a loyalty card, we collect the information you enter, which may include the card name, card number, and the barcode data. This information is stored exclusively on your device. It is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
b) Information Collected Automatically:
Usage Data: We do not collect personal analytics or usage data. All your interactions, such as the order of your cards or your preferred view (list/grid), are saved locally on your device.
Anonymous Purchase Data (via RevenueCat): To manage in-app purchases and validate access to premium features (the "Pro" version), we use a third-party service called RevenueCat. When you make a purchase, RevenueCat processes the transaction receipt from the App Store or Google Play Store. This receipt contains anonymous, non-personal identifiers that allow us to verify your subscription status. We do not have access to your payment information (like credit card numbers), which is handled securely by Apple or Google.
2. How We Use Your Information
Because we store all personal card data locally, our use of it is limited to the core functionality of the App.
To Provide and Maintain the App: Your card data is used to display your loyalty cards and generate their corresponding barcodes for you to use.
To Manage In-App Subscriptions: We use the anonymous data from RevenueCat solely to grant or deny access to "Pro" features within the App.
To Enable App Features: We use on-device storage (SharedPreferences) to remember your settings, such as your preferred theme (Light/Dark) or card layout, to enhance your user experience. The share_plus functionality allows you to share content from the app, but we do not collect any data about what you share or with whom.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your privacy is our architecture.
Local Storage: All your personal card information (names, numbers, barcodes) is stored in the App's private, sandboxed storage on your physical device. We have no access to this data.
Security: We take reasonable measures within the App's architecture to protect your locally-stored information. However, please be aware that if your device is lost, stolen, or compromised, the data stored on it could be at risk.
Data Deletion: If you delete the App from your device, all the card data you have stored within it is permanently deleted as well.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to provide functionality within the App:
RevenueCat: Used for managing in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat processes transaction receipts to validate purchases. You can view their privacy policy for more information on how they handle data.
App Store / Google Play Store: Handle all payment processing for in-app purchases. We do not receive or store any of your financial information.
Mobile Scanner (Camera Access): The app requires access to your device's camera via the mobile_scanner package for the sole purpose of scanning barcodes when you add a new card. We do not collect, store, or transmit any images or video from your camera. Access is only active when you are on the scanning screen.
5. Your Rights and Choices
Since all personal data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it.
Access, Modify, and Delete: You can freely add, view, edit, or delete your cards from within the App at any time.
Data Removal: To erase all your data, simply uninstall the DigiWallet application from your device.
Camera Permission: You can grant or revoke camera permissions at any time through your device's settings. If you revoke permission, you will not be able to use the barcode scanning feature to add cards.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time.
We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on our App Store listing. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
